A Little Roddick Love

I’ve been known to harp on America’s top-ranked player Andy Roddick. I can’t seem to help it but I tell myself I do it out of love because I have long been a fan of Roddick’s. He’s like the little mischevious boy down the street. He does things wrong but you can’t help but smile on him at the end of the day.

Bad analogy but the only other one I could think of was that he was like a drug you can’t quit. And the boy down the street one was so much better.

Tom Perrotta writes an interesting analysis of Roddick’s game and the future he has in tennis. Long story short, Perrotta supports Roddick’s chances of continuing to be successful to the extent of winning another slam.

Between you and me, I hope Roddick can do it. It’d be nice if one of the top servers in the game could pick up some more major wins.
