A new adventure to hit the DS

According to the truly adventurous site, Adventure Gamers, a new adventure game, Touch Detective, is due to hit the United States in the near future. Now, the game has been out for some time in… other… countries… and with the first name something like Osawar Tantei Ozawa Rina, you know it’s gotta be from Japan. That’s quite the mouth full for a game. I’m glad they condensed it down to the much easier to say “Touch Detective”, otherwise some of my readers would be confused. And by readers, I mean, myself.

The screenshots themselves remind me of a crazy anime cartoon that you might be able to see late at night on Cartoon Network.

All of these screenshots remind me of myself in someway. See if you can guess!

Killing ants is pretty awesome…

Someone set us up the bomb.

Look at the main character’s eyes. I think she’s on crack.

Hahah. I’m strange

The characters look pretty cute, if you like that type of drawing style. I’m not the biggest fan, but I hear that the game has a pretty cool story line. If anything, their website is pretty amusing. The main character, MacKenzie (very Japanese name, by the way), has a pal named Funghi, who looks like a tadpole… with arms. Apparently he talks in grunts that only MacKenzie can understand. I once had a talking tadpole. I named it Tad. My brother stepped on it. I then stepped on my brother.

Actually, the entire thing scares me, quite frankly. Anime is WEIRD.
