A PC? In a Dreamcast?

That’s right, this guy gutted his Dreamcast (It’s ok… He bought a broken one on eBay), to fit it out with a VIA EPIA 800 Mini-ITX motherboard, a 20GB notebook hard drive and 512mb of PC133 SDRAM. The intention of course being to turn it into a PC.

What would have made this project cooler is if the GD-ROM drive still worked, but alas to save space it had to be dropped… The PSU also has to sit outside the case due to space requirements (which is understandable), but it still makes for a very cool mod. He even rigged up the power switch and corresponding LED! Nice touch, I thought.

Now get a Dreamcast emulator installed on it!
