Happy about it would be the understatement of the day. Information junkies and constant RSS readers, using Google Reader, will be more than happy today because as they open their Google Reader at the topmost portion there will be search bar. The search bar will allow them to use search through their feeds as a whole or per folder and feed itself.

Google Reader

This feature will cut the time and effort the Google Reader punter spends going through the coils and tangles of collected web feeds. The search is simple it has a drop-down menu to enable you to search all or specific feeds based on folders and feeds. Truly a welcome development. Perhaps along the way we might see more features added to the search – such as doing (i) more specific searches and (ii) combining feeds in a search. Still this new development is a welcome one to the punters of Google Reader. And it would seem that there would be additional announcements from Google today perhaps about a wiki (?), read this.
