A Simple Step toward Green – Rechargeable Batteries

Today, Greenyour.com reminded me of a super easy step that we can all do to run a greener business – replace your typical batteries with rechargeable batteries. Sure, they’re a bit pricey upfront, but overtime you’ll save a TON of money and you won’t be filling our landfills with batteries which can’t be recycled.

You can use rechargeable batteries in anything from clocks to radios to electronic office supplies that your business uses. I also recommend buying them at home, especially for use in your digital camera and video game controllers – two products that suck batteries dry really quickly.

The above pictured batteries pack is just $21.99 by Sony. It comes with the charger and four batteries.

If you don’t want to go with Sony, you can also check out other rechargeable battery options here!

I can’t imagine what I’d do if my digital camera didn’t have rechargeable batteries! I love them, and I wish that manufacturers that include batteries would start including rechargeables instead.
