A Site For Women Writers

I’m never sure I like the idea of a site that aims at one sex or the other. Part of me truly believes that freelance writing is one of the few careers where sexism doesn’t exist.
On the other hand, I also believe that men and women are truly different – not just in the obvious ways, but in the ways we take in, process, and respond.
Be that as it may, I received an offer to advertise the contest at Wow! Women On Writing. I turned it down because it costs to enter (not much, a mere $5, but policy is policy.)
It’s an interesting site… a bit splashy looking for my personal taste, but they’ve got some interesting things going on. There are articles by women you’ll recognize, a store that’s being redone and a blog. This is one of those sites that’s worth spending some time with once and awhile. I’m glad to find it.
Write well and often,

I’m always interested in sites/publications/etc. that pertain to women’s interests. (I recently added the very first non-writing-related blog to my feedblitz account for that reason. superwoman.ca if you’re interested.) Thanks for the link, I’ll definitely check it out.
You’re welcome and goodluck with http://superwoman.ca/ – looks like a fun site.
Hi Anne,
Thanks for the post! ;-)
And I totally respect your policy.
I’m a newsletter subscriber of yours and think your site offers great resources for freelance writers. Keep up the great work!
Yours in writing,
Angela
