A Vampyre Story – Pizza Bites
Over at The International House of Mojo, there was a news post on A Vampyre Story and a specific pizza company (CallaPizza) in Germany who were offering A Vampyre Story themed pizza. Now, I guess that’s not TOO weird. It just goes to show you how popular adventure games are in Germany. The weird part? Those would have to be the toppings. Okay, first… you have pepperoni, which is a good pizza classic. Next, you’ve got jalepenos, which can be good, if that’s the sort of thing you like on your pizza. I’ve got a sensative stomach, so I try to stay away from the jalapenos… except if they’re on a good bunch of nachos!
The final ingredient to make A Vampyre Story themed pizza? Well, that would be SWEET CORN.
SWEET CORN?! Who puts corn on a pizza?! Especially a pizza that’s based on a Vampire?! Corn and vampires do not go together at all! And neither do corn and pizza!
Just take a look at this travesty to mankind:
Does anyone know if this is a normal thing in other places in the world? I know I’ve eaten a ton of pizzas and I have never even been offered corn as a topping. I just… I mean… I… It makes me want to cry!
If it weren’t for the beer and the sausage, Germany would have lost me as a fan with this whole corn on a pizza business.

It also has garlic.
And here in the Netherlands, I’ve had a chicken pizza that had corn on it once or twice, but that was before I turned vegetarian.
It has garlic, too?! That’s just disgusting! Does garlic and sweet corn even go together? Honestly, I don’t think so.
I mean, sure… sweet corn is delicious. And so is garlic. But it would never EVER think of combining the two.
