Acclaim’s Top Secret: How To Break Into The Industry

Perhaps game companies are actually looking to be a little more innovative in the game development and design. That would be nice wouldn’t it, considering that that was your number one concern for 2007, beating out even rising prices as a threat to the gaming industry.

Reknowned developer David Perry (of Earthworm Jim fame), already working with Acclaim on an MMORPG called 2Moons, is partnering up with the publishing company again in order to offer one talented gamer the chance of a lifetime. Looking to find some clever, untapped minds, Acclaim has launched Project Top Secret, whereby aspiring developers will have the opportunity to participate in the entire development process of an MMO headed up by David Perry. In a games industry twist on reality television, whomever impresses Perry the most on his soon-to-start project will be offered a Video Game Industry Directorship, and work under Mr. Perry, directing their very own, fully funded, Acclaim-published MMORPG.
