A Lloyd Carr press conference is usually filled with obfuscation and contempt. This of course is the man who once asked a sideline reporter “What kind of stupid question is that?” No one questions the wisdom of Lloyd Carr! But then you lose to Appalachian State, and the dynamic changes a bit. You have to start answering some questions. Things get kicked up a notch and you can’t get away with being vague and uninterested. So, here’s Coach Carr, being candid:
“What we have to do in a short time here is become a more disciplined team, a smarter team and a team that executes better.”
Ok, maybe you don’t actually have to start answering questions too candidly. And it still doesn’t seem like there’s a sense of urgency. But I think I might have seen a little nugget of truth in there. Let’s translate.

Hail! The Lloooser, spineless
Hail! The feeble, motivation
Hail! Hail! Lloooyd Carr, the spent asshole coach
Hail! The lack of, preparation
Hail! The end of a program
Hail! Hail! Lloooyd Carr the butt of all good jokes!!!
End of a program? I agree with everything else, but to say that a single lose will lead to the demise of a program is a bit much.
