Adobe Launches Flash Lite 3 for Mobile Phones

Flash

Apple bragging about their iPhone’s native YouTube support suddenly seems like a distant and insignificant memory compared to the prospect of watching all the Web’s streaming Flash video on most any smartphone. Adobe just launched Flash Lite 3, which now supports playback of regular Flash videos on mobile devices. DoCoMo and Nokia are on board to build phones with the new software.

With most video-sharing sites supporting Flash, that means you’ll soon be able to watch most online video on upcoming phones without jumping through any hoops. Soon video-sharing sites won’t need any watered-down mobile interfaces.
