Though offensive lineman don't put fans in the seats, don't sell season tickets and aren't the sexy picks that get fans drooling for next year they are necessary to building a winning (note: Lions aren't known for winning)teams. Biggest problem I have with the Lions using a pick that high for Joe Thomas is that it will be too high of a price tag for an offensive lineman that is not considered a potential all pro type player. I say use the first pick for Peterson and the second pick for an offensive lineman. Use the rest of your picks for defense. Lions have a lot of salary cap room. Use it wisely for a change. Hopefully the new coaching staff will have some input into how that money is spent and not just Millen.
