What would you tell your 10-year old daughter to do with her life, if she asked you?

Loaded question, isn’t it? I’ve offered my (now) 11 year old advice on numerous occasions about her life and career. I always, always, always encourage her to go to college and then all kinds of opportunities open up for her.

What would you tell your little girl to do with her life as a business-woman-to-be?

  1. I would tell her exactly what my mom told me. Education is the most valuable assist anyone can have.
    Set goals and research them.
You need to remain focused and not allow any outside distractions(especially boys)to interfere.
There will always be times for serious relationships later.

I am an 11 year old girl and My friend and I want to start a business for pet sitting and dog walking. Are opening day is Sunday 1/25/09 and we are ready but our parents say we need an “ok” from the state. How can we get and “ok” yet open then?
