Al Davis Has Lost His Mind

I think the Oakland Raiders have “jumped the shark.”
Al Davis has either lost his mind or he’s living in an alternate reality. Does he really thing that letting go of DeAngelo Hall will improve his team??? ![]()
The Raiders signed Hall to a 70 million dollar contract, plus gave up a second-round draft pick in 2008 and a fifth-round draft pick in 2009 to Atlanta in order to seal the deal.
That’s a lot to pay for only eight games.
Granted Hall hasn’t played up to his potential thus far, but I think one of the leagues top cornerbacks deserves a chance to adjust to a new team. He had 17 interceptions in four seasons with Atlanta, that’s roughly 4.2 a season which is a decent stat.
I just don’t get the decision. You can’t blame poor defense on one player. Hall already had three interceptions this season so far, which put him on pace to tie or beat his average per season.

Can somebody clue me in here? What in the world is Al Davis thinking? Or is he thinking at all?
