Alertle Alerts

The Internet seems to be shrinking in terms of RSS Readers.

Ladies and Gentlemen meet Alertle. Promoted as the new way of reading feeds:

Experience the new and revolutionary way of surfing the web, where you get the updates from your favorite websites delivered to you in one place.[Source]

But what is new and innovative with Alertle?

FEEDPACKS - A way of organizing feeds and sharing them to friends and family. A category or label, or page by a different name.

WEB ICONS - View feeds as icons.

SIGMA VIEW - See composite view of feed updates.

ACTUAL PLAY - Watch all updates as if watching them on a TV screen: No need to click.

Additional information about Alertle can be found on the Alertle Blog.

Alertle seems to be user friendly. I like the ACTUAL PLAY feature. Although I do not know if it is going to be practical with over a hundred or so feed subscriptions.

I know that all these new RSS Feed Readers are there to curb and control Information Overload. But with the increase of RSS Feed Readers that are appearing almost everyday it seems to another form of Information Overload. Overwhelming.

Here is a video of how Alertle works. No sound just captions though:

Here is a better presention now with sounds.
