Alternatives to TLA?

December 1, 2007 by Christina Jones

With the recent PageRank crack down on sites that sell links, how has this affected your blogs on the SERPs? Have you found other “Google friendly” means to monetize your site?

There are so many brokerage programs out there that need a chance to get noticed. With the recent developments of Google’s advertising clamp down, these sites will probably gain more than lose as web masters and bloggers innovate the monetization scheme.

Frankly, it’s too early to tell the outcome of search and advertising. The industry has barely mainsteamed so we expect many many more changes in the future. The industry is young.

I think that’s the concern here. Yes, the industry is young and Google is already killing it. Smell of competing ad threats perhaps?
