Amazing Feat of Blogging!

I am so proud of my co-author Laura that I can hardly contain myself!

Laura single-handedly participated in the b5media blogathon on Friday – publishing 1 blog an hour for 24 hours straight in order to raise money for charity!! 

Hopefully Laura will write a follow up post outlining how she was able to come up with so many topics in such a short amount of time.  But looking at ther posts I am surmising that it helped that she wrote around one theme  which helped her to brainstorm and organize her thoughts. 

There’s an inspiring lesson there for the rest of us bloggers who didn’t participate in the challenge:

• it’s possible to write high quality posts more quickly than you thought possible

The next time you are struggling to write a single post for your blog – challenge yourself to write three.  What would you come up with if you had to think of three topics instead of one? 

Amazingly, by taking the focus off your initial problem:

• I can’t think of anything to write about

And turning to an opportunity – what are three things I could write about?

Your creative juices start flowing.  You liberate yourself to come up with a bunch of ideas instead of one killer idea.

Try it right now – in just 1 minute make a list of as many topics as you can that you could someday write about……ready, set, Go!!

I bet you’re surprised at how many you came up with!

And now, with Laura’s example to inspire you – start writing at least three of them!

Note: Many of the other bloggers in the business channel also participated in this event, publishing 24 posts in 24 hours!  My hat is off to all of them!!
