America Runs On Manufactured Hysteria

Rachel Ray’s Scarf Criticized By Conservatives as ‘Promoting Terrorism,’ Michelle Malkin Calls For Hermes Factory to Be Put On Terrorist Watch List

In yet another skirmish on the War on Terror, Michelle Malkin and other conservative bloggers have taken Rachel Ray and Dunkin’ Donuts to task for allowing the perky spokesperson to appear in an ad wearing a scarf which critics say helps promote terrorism.

Malkin is also said to be extremely upset at the brisk sales of Baskin-Robbins’ iced cappuccino drink, the Mocha Blast, saying it promotes random terrorist explosions.

“The Mocha Blast is a particularly insidious weapon of al-Qaeda since it equates car bombings with a sweet-tasting morning pick-me-up and, due to its high sugar content and calorie count, contributes to a whole new generation of soft, obese Americans” said Malkin.

The outrage over fashion accessories appears set to continue as right-wing bloggers “out” other celebrities accused of promoting terrorism by wearing scarves. Shown below are such well-known terrorist sympathizers as Hillary Clinton, the Dalai Lama, George Bush and Thurston Howell III.
