I don’t know what makes people think they can write songs about poker. ‘The Gambler’ I guess is a decent one, but that doesn’t try to be too specific. Poker-themed anything is usually pretty cheesy, but when it translates over to music is can be pretty bad.

Or downright cringe-inducing enough to make you want to slap yourself in the face.

Like this rap song, ‘Stu Ungar’ by some group called Side C. I found it hard to listen through far enough even to say something about it on this blog.

I mean, really, only listen to this if you have a strong stomach. There’s even a sample from World Poker Tour at the beginning.
