Andre Iguodala went from goat to hero in the span of a couple minutes. After missing a pair of free throws that could have given his Philadelphia 76ers the lead, Iguodala made amends by hitting a game-winning jumper in the final seconds to beat the Orlando Magic by a final score of 100-98.

For the Magic, superstar center Dwight Howard had 31 points, 16 rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots. Rookie Courtney Lee had 18 points, while Rashard Lewis and Rafer Alston scored 15 points for Orlando.

In the last shot of the game, the Magic’s Hedo Turkoglu missed a three-pointer that would have won the game. The second contest of this series will be played on Wednesday.
