Another Online Storage Service

With all the talk about Web 2.0, having another place to store a significant stack of data online is still needed.
Streamload.com could be just the place you’ve been looking for to serve that need. You can store 25GB of data online for free. That’s right! 25GB for free. From their homepage they tout the service for:
- storage
- access
- sharing
- hosting
- back-ups
Potentially, the only drawback to the service could be the restricted amount of download traffic allowed. With the 25GB storage, there’s a 100MB download restriction per month. The other tiers of service are (storage/month/year):
- Unlimited/2GB@$4.95/24GB@$44.95
- Unlimited/25GB@$9.95/300GB@$99.95
- Unlimited/50GB@$19.95/600GB@$199.95
- Unlimited/100GB@$39.95/1200GB@$399.95
This type of storage space and bandwidth could be just what that budding podcaster or vidcaster needed to get themselves started and begin to gain an audience. Or, for those of us in the United States, could be just the place to store some 4th of July celebration video footage and digital pictures.
