Anybody Want Tarvaris Jackson?

Even though the Vikings have their final preseason game tomorrow night, it looks like they have put the feelers out to see what a Tarvaris Jackson trade might net them. We knew this day would come, didn’t we? While I think Jackson is a talented guy, with four quarterbacks on the team (thank you Brett Favre), one of them had to go.

And for once, this really can’t be blamed on Favre.

Jackson has at least played 20 games in the last three years, so his chances of getting picked up are good. I’m not sure I would have made this decision, as I would have opted to hold to Jackson and trade either Sage Rosenfels and John David Booty. I think Jackson is a talented guy who will be snapped up. His time in this league is not over, but he was never a good fit for Minnesota.
