Anyone interested in the Olympic Torch Relay Route?

I came across an article over at the official website of Beijing 2008 and it read, “The route and torch of the Torch Relay Program for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will be made public in the near future.”
For people who aren’t aware of how important this sort of thing is, please know that it IS a big deal. It reminds me of that time wherein I actually kept track of the baton’s journey during the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia. One can only imagine how much preparation it took to make this event successful. It was a time for the common folk feel the message of the Games because somehow if you see the baton pass through your town, city or country, you will feel that you are part of the whole thing. I was simply a tourist in Australia at that time but it made me feel that way. That’s probably why I looked forward to where the baton was and where it will go next, you know, that sort of thing.
Anyway, the article reiterated what the activity meant,
“It was stressed that the relay route is the most important part of the program. A carrier of the torch relay, the torch symbolizes peace and friendship. BOCOG has successfully completed the formulation of the Beijing 2008 torch relay route and the design of the torch.”
I guess, now, the question that remains is “Is anyone interested in the Olympic Torch Relay Route?” I know I am. Will you look forward to how everything will unfold? I’m excited to find out the details and, of course, to watch it! :)
