Apple-Cran Toddy

Now that Autumn is here, so is the cold weather.  And just like you enjoy a ‘cold one’ on a hot summer’s day, you should do the same when it gets chilly.  A warm alcoholic beverage can really hit the spot on a cold day, so give this drink made with Tequila Herradura a shot.

Herradura Apple-Cran Toddy

• 4 cups apple cider
  

  Apple-Cran Toddy

• 1 cup cranberry juice cocktail
• 1 medium sized cinnamon stick
• 4 ounces Herradura Reposado
• 1.5 ounces triple sec

Heat the apple cider, cranberry juice and cinnamon stick in a sauce pan just until boiling point. Remove from heat and add Herradura and triple sec. Pour into heat resistant mugs and garnish with orange peel.
