Apple Plumping Up My Windows System?

I’m poking around my computer tonight and looking for old apps that I no longer use and can get rid of from my Control Panel.

The first one that caught my attention is Apple Mobile Device Support taking up a whopping 43.25MB. I’ve actually got an iPod, but it’s defunct right now so I’m not sure I really need this little device on my system.

I did a quick search to find this great post by Alun Jones, who’s not too happy himself with how Apple regularly loads up his system with software he didn’t ask for, didn’t directly approve and can’t easily get rid of in the first place.

When things like this happen, it makes me really question how people can think only Microsoft is evil and Apple is the good guy always wearing white. Hmmm, always wearing white? Could that be a coincidence or a disguise?

Hehehe, MS is definitely evil. Apples not as bad but its iTunes / Quicktime bundle is definitely a spawn of the devil.

Apple ain’t the good guys though. Whoever said that. They took Linux and turned it into a system for idiots so that its impossible to get it to do anything advanced when your trouble shooting issues.

How would they like it if next time I pass the Apple store I get my dog to leave a turd for them to clean up? Yes they will feel exactly the same way that I feel about them putting crapware on my computer.
