April 15th is looming

It’s coming on that time, so those of you who do (or may) have to file your taxes in the US can check out the IRS page on international taxpayers to try and understand your filing obligations.

If you’re doing this for the first time, check out Classification of Taxpayers for US Tax Purposes to find out where you fit, then look at the relevant publication below. If I were doing it, I’d read Alien Taxation – Certain Essential Concepts first, for an overview of the system and US taxation abroad.
