Are These Two Bloggers Fooling Us?

Deb and James are playing a joke on us today…I just know it.
Deb has a prolific blog site where she gives out blogging and writing job leads on a daily basis. She also writes informative articles and has guest posters from time to time who do the same. She has a large following and a faithful crowd.
James, who’s fairly new to the scene, writes an outstanding blog, Men With Pens, and has a very edgey, controversial touch which makes his comments and materials quite interesting to read.
Two people with prolific blogs and a faithful following. And today they both announced on their blogs that Deb’s is being sold to James and what a wonderful business idea it is for both of them.
I think they’re kidding us though.
In Deb’s post, she talks about how things are tight financially and what a wonderful timing it was that James made the offer to purchase.
James’ post talks about how he can add to this wonderful site of Deb’s and really make things work out great for all involved.
I say, yeah right.
Although there are by now, I think, 50+ or so comments on the post, I do believe that the talented Deb and James are pulling our legs. When you grow your site or blog to a decent size, have a pretty good following, your name hums in the blog-o-sphere and you have the ear and the eye of aspiring writers and bloggers…
WHY WOULD YOU SELL?
Are they for real, or just April foolin’ us? What do you think?
I say they’re fooling. Deb “quit” last year too. Gotta get some new material guys. LOL
Amy, I agree with you…they’re fooling us and they DO need to get new material.
But I just remembered after you mentioned that Deb “quit” last year too. Wow. Maybe she needs, like, a humor blog too. LOL
Doesn’t she already have a few dozen blogs? I can’t keep up anymore…. Well, what the heck, maybe she could do one more. :-)
She does have like 12 blogs or so. But she isn’t saying she’s going to do one more blog on this morning’s post. She just says the work at FWG has gotten to be too much for her. Speaking of that…she DIDN’t mention her new blog with Jennifer Chait. Go figure. Hey, maybe we should go ask Jennifer. She’s one of my co-bloggers here at the b5media network. Be right back…

I’m sure by tomorrow the truth will be out. I wonder how much traffic all of this has gotten Deb and James. Hmm… Maybe I should quit too! Hehe.
Jennifer, what’s the real deal with Deb at FWG? April Fool’s or what?
I doubt this is an April Fool’s joke… It would not be a nice one! I’m feeling rather devastated by the news. :(
