From June 18 – 21, 2009, guests to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio can find out exactly what it takes to be Army Strong. The U.S. Army’s Strength in Action Tour exhibit will be open from noon to 8:00pm each day near the Wicked Twister roller coaster. Visitors can take part in a variety of activities to test their fitness ability, as well as other experience interactive components including flight simulators, robots and even Guitar Hero. The exhibit is free of charge to everyone age 16 and older.

Guests will be able to see if they meet the physical fitness standards needed to join the Army. The fitness tests include push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and a rock-climbing wall.

June marks the Army’s 234th Birthday Season. The Continental Congress created a volunteer army of 16,000 soldiers to defend the newly formed nation in June 1775.

So, do you think you are Army Strong?
