Are You Paying It Forward in Business?

Helping a fellow business owner can be very rewarding because it is a way for your to “pay it forward”. “Paying it forward” is the process of helping out three people without expecting anything in return. Then ask them to help out three people instead of paying you back. It’s a simple theory that was brought to the forefront by the movie “Pay It Forward” and I have included a sample from the movie below.

How I am “paying it forward”…

As I thought about how I could “pay it forward” and who I could do it for, I realize that it’s a big decision and it can have a big impact. One of the people that I chose to “pay it forward” to is a friend who wanted to start their own online business but didn’t know how. So I decided to invest time into helping her start her own business and train her. It has been very rewarding and fulfilling to “pay it forward”.

Do you have any “pay it forward” experiences where you have help someone in business without expecting anything in return? Please feel free to share about your experiences.
