Hi Darlene,
It’s a timely post for me as a freelancer. I’m in a dilemma with a client who doesn’t want to pay me much. I don’t want to work for less. However, I know if I sit idle the boredom will kill me. I know If I work on this assignment, someone will sure identify my work and call me for more.
Today, I called him if he needs the job to be done. He said yes, and told me there is another job is on the wings. Thanks for the good perspective!

You’re right about that! Even the competition over minimum wage work is very tough right now, between laid-off workers and former retirees looking for anything to pay the bills.
