However, in this particular case I think this diva made a bit of a mistake. For some weird reason, ego's are allowed, veneered and respected in the entertainment industry EXCEPT when they are bragged on personally; like Aretha just did. In my opinion, she should have kept her mouth shut. It's not like people would love her ANY less for "this" (which I don't even see the big situation).. but hey, maybe she needed some PR..
