Arrival of June

For our family, The arrival of  June was welcomed in glorious nature in the Swiss countryside (  And What nature it is! Towering alps, crystal clear aqua lakes, green pastures, organic farming, waterfalls everywhere and stress-free living. We watched all the different  cultural events and language groups celebrate their national costumes, dances, and music. German, French and Italian. It was great, a sunny day with Swiss cows, horses and many other farm animals. We enjoyed country food and hospitality.

We drove by car to get there. Which meant the three hour trip there, involved filling up. The pumps registered a substantial increase, which we tried not to complain about. It was wonderful to be in a dreamland far away from all the problems: almost to step back in time, where farming, the season, and the celebration of life took precedence over the usual talk of the economy, the price of fuel, etc.

June is going to be a month of money tips here on Digital money world!

We need you to participate! Send your best money-saving tip, it can be about investing, buying differently, or saving. NO limitations on subject, aslong as it involves money! Send us your best tip and you could be June’s winner.

My fuel-saving tip is, slow down by half. You’ll save on fuel, and also have time to see your normal  route with new eyes.

You can team up with others who do week-end run-arounds in the car, By being on duty for the day. This way you have a day completely free when its someone elses turn.
