We are looking for a specific solution to a design related dilemma. We are a strategy firm in need of an animator/web developer/graphic artist to create a flash transition for our website.
You must respond to this post with a few ideas, not just your resume or body of work. Feel free to include a link – but we are looking for ideas and the person with the best solution gets the job…

We believe that marketing and advertising need the strategic/analytical talents of left-brain types in addition to the strengths of right-brain innovative creatives to really be effective. Our site reflects the two camps that most people fall in and the content can be viewed from two entirely different perspectives: left-brain/analytical/verbal/linear and right-brain/abstract/visual/lofty. Each page has a toggle button that crosses over to the other side. Imagine crossing over from the world of Microsoft to the world of Mac…..
If you can think of an idea for a flash transition that we think is creative and captures what we’re looking for we will pay the person with the best idea to design it for us and credit your work on our site.

We do have a tight deadline – so, we need to see your submissions no later than Tuesday, 1/8/08.

How much do you want to bet he’s going to show up for that creative meeting next week with a big fat old clipboard filled with other people’s ideas. Ideas he’ll no doubt take credit for. I doubt there’s any job here. Just someone who can’t think of anything original on his own and needs to find a way to steal ideas from people who don’t know any better.
