938C1908-C3D6-4602-BAC5-CD5911157D29.jpgAT&T has had high hopes for U-Verse, their IPTV service formerly known as “Project Lightspeed.” They’ve had the high hopes since 2005 an earlier. Well, now they are rethinking how high they can hope by increasing the cost of expanding U-Verse, yet are saying they will reach one million fewer people than expected at the end of 2008. How that balances out, I have no idea. They now plan to reach 18 million customers by the end of 2008, while earlier when AT&T was still SBC, they planned to reach 18 million by the end of 2007. Take some time to think over this and read more about this whole shenanigan that’s taking place.
