As a dedicated Twitter user myself, I understand the value of tweets and the idea that social search – i.e. recommendations or information provided by friends – is an important part of navigating the internet world. At this point, despite being a big Twitter user I am still however someone who relies on Google search results rather than Twitter….but Google have announced that “we are very excited to announce that we have reached an agreement with Twitter to include their updates in our search results. We believe that our search results and user experience will greatly benefit from the inclusion of this up-to-the-minute data” This is fab news as far as I am concerned as Google remains my favourite search engine and... When you network in real life, the business card is still an important part of keeping in touch with people. Ensuring that your card stands out is the difficult part and I really like people who turn their cards into something useful….something that I want to keep. For people like me who are always looking to save a cent, or penny or euro, or two! try Moo Cards. They are great value and so simple. Also today they announced enhancements to Minicards. They have announced “There’s now the option to choose from a bigger range of fonts, colours and templates to personalise the ‘details side’ of your cards. We’ve also added the option to upload your own logo, or choose an icon from our brand new selection… you can now upload... [Read more]
