The International Tennis Writers Association selected Roger Federer and Amelie Mauresmo as their Players of the Year. Not only that, but also gave them the ITWA’s Ambassador for Tennis award. The Ambassador for Tennis award recognizes players that go above and beyond the call of duty to advance tennis worldwide. But why Amelie Mauresmo and not Justine Henin-Hardenne?
