Though the tournament had hype the participants, and eventual winner, of the WWE’s King of the Ring tournament left much to be desired. Many felt that King of the Ring had massive potential this time around, and in my eyes the concept does still have its merits, but when William Regal, the Raw GM and rare wrestler these days, is crowned King it’s quite obsious something is amiss but that was the cast this week. To little fanfare Regal captured the crown and not much else on Monday night. In all honesty I thoroughly enjoyed the presidential match storyline they promoted.
