Valentino Rossi maybe behind the wheel of a race car as we speak somewhere on the planet, but he definitely wasn’t in Geneva at the FIM headquarters to sit down and discuss future developments planned for the 2010 MotoGP World Championship. He would probably rather just let others handle that and tell him later, just before he’s scheduled to get on his bike and race in the opening competition of the 2010 MotoGP season. FIM officials were in Geneva though, talking with Dorna Sports and the MSMA about changes to the maximum engine capacity of the MotoGP class to 1000 cc for the up coming 2010 MotoGP season. For next year a limit of 4 cylinders will also be added to the rules and regulations, along with a maximum cylinder bore measurement of... [Read more]

Felipe Massa has completely recovered with his brush with career ending injury sustained to his head during the 2009 Formula One season and he’s back on the track, only in a different kind of race car than the Ferrari he usually drives. Last week, he was at the International Challenge of Stars taking the winning cup and waving to all of his fans while he basked in the glory of being one of the best race car racers on the planet. This week Felipe Massa was busy taking the win in the 500 mile Granja Viana kart race in Cotia, near Sao Paula, Brazil. This victory was really his first since fracturing his skull in the Hungarian Grand Prix in July and he looked pretty good on the track. Rubens was competing against Felipe Massa on a different stage Felipe... [Read more]
