Virgina Commonwealth University – This is the equivalent of Virginia State University, except Virginia isn’t a state, it’s technically a commonwealth. They beat last years favorite founding father George Mason to win the CAA Championship.

Niagra – Your great-grandparents honeymoon destination won the MAAC to qualify for their second bid in three years. Not bad.

Gonzaga – This year, they won’t be expected to go far. Which means they’ll probably actually go far this year.
