In my previous post, I have told you about backing up files in Windows Vista. Today, we would talk about backing up your entire computer instead.

Click the “Start Menu”, then choose “Control Panel”. On the control panel screen click on “System and Maintenance” then “Backup and Restore Center”. After that, the screen where you would be able to back up your computer pops up (See below):

Back Up Computer to Hard Disk

Click on “Back up computer” and the screen below would appear:

You have the option to back up your files on the hard disk (by default, it should choose your recovery disk) or on a DVD.

Click the next button and the screen to start your backup appears. Click on Start backup button and Windows Vista should start the process.

I have the Vista Home Premium.
My computer back up function reflects your previous post.

What did you do to change from backing up files to backing up the computer?
