  1. Barack’s comments on NewYorker cover cartoon were exemplary of his fairness and objectivity. Especially appreciate his pointing out that the Muslin community is demeaned by the implication that being Muslin is somehow not a good thing in our America

  2. Per usual, Barack was clear, logical, and endearing in his comments
    I can’t wait until he’s our President!

  3. Laura Hansen says:

How come no one is talking about this?

In the middle of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, John McCain wants to change the subject from the central question of this election.

Perhaps that’s because the policies McCain supported these past eight years are pretty hard to defend.

The Obama campaign put together a documentary about why John McCain’s failed philosophy and poor judgment are a recipe for deepening the crisis.

Watch the documentary now and share it with others:

    Thanks

Ari mentioned that Sen. Obama was unpatriotic because of his affiliation with terrorist suspect. First were is the hard evidence that this person is in fact a terorist? And please avoid the double speak.

Second, why has no one mentioned Todd Palin’s participation in a secessionist group supporting removing Alaska from the UNITED States of America?

    Thank you.

I am so proud of Barackobama and Michelle for showing such integrity and intelligence and class and staying on the issues that concern the American people at such a time of crises in our Country…And after the awful behavior of McCain and Palen in thier desperate attacts to malign others in order to lift themselves up shows they are both unfit for the honor and respect of the office of the President of the United States. They have shown the American people they are both unqualified and have character that does not exemplify the American Way or Values.

  6. I know Bill said he thought it wasn’t quite fair as Barack got to give his serious talk, tonight. Well, we’re in serious times, and Barack has already taken on the identity of President. As our President, I know I expect someone to say exactly what he did.
It *isn’t* a joking time! Bill, you DO effect people re politics, (as does Larry) and you are now officially delclared an SP (Suppressive person).:) Check my YT site: It’s there.
Thanks for all you both do!

Coming from New Hampshire, and being a proud resident of the ‘live free or die’ state, I can honestly say that if McCain dies, which he might, Sarah Palin’s view of Russia from her house is not going to help any of us remain ‘free’. We’re a swing state because we’re a smart state. I’d hope our choice from the 2004 election to go blue will stay true.

  8. As a white British citizen living in South Africa, but been born in Zambia from Brit parents, I suppose I can call myself a European African ????
I think its not so much Obama being Black, but America needs to change its foreign policy and deal directly with all conflicts all over the world and Obama is the man to do the job

  9. joan bashaw says:

I’m confused, why is it more difficult for Bill Clinton to pass for his wife to me Secretary of State then for his wife to be President? Don’t you think they have all thier ducks in a row?

  10. Carol from Canada says:

I wish President Obama would come to Canada, and be our Prime Minister. We need someone like him New Blood in this country, I envy Americans, having him to lead them. Thank you Carol

  11. Now maybe the white american people can understand how comments hurt ,like when they make their racial jokes although that was not the intent.

  12. Toni says:

The president was confident and articulate during his speech. He had specific answers to the questions and was also very personable. I feel he did a fabulous job!

  13. jason huffman says:

I approve of President Obama’s speech to the American people. The AIG episode is horrible and will require strict oversight. We all need to remember that the Obama Administration did not create the contracts that allow these bonuses. Eight years of unregulated and ignored big business, is why our country is in trouble today. Americans need to stand together for improvement and support our president, even if we disagree with some policies. Let’s give him a chance and see what he can do remember he has only been in office 64 days.

  14. norma aldana says:

america ,…lets back up our president, lets pray for him and lets pray for our country and our world
