Battlefield 2142 Demo

For those of you who don’t know, and honestly if you didn’t then you probably really didn’t care in the first place and you won’t care now, the Battlefield 2142 demo is finally out. Kinda like the post title says. Worthplaying has a link for it. Gamespot did too, but for some odd reason they had this countdown timer with 3 hours left (when I looked) and then you had to sign up or login and well. That just seemed silly.

Boys at WP describe it was Mechwarrior meets Battlefield 2. Now, normally this would get me all a flutter but the constant things I read about EA and Dice and the lack of support they’ve put out for BF2 really just sorta turn me off. Plus there was this whole video I watched where they had guys already cheating. My motivation is just overwhelming at the moment. My Mech sense is tingling, and believe me, it’s quite powerful. Unbearable at times. But there’s also this “This is gonna be bullshit” meter that I have and it’s pegged pretty high as well. I’m willing to try the demo, even though I’m not horribly excited about the game. I just love me some giant robots and that’s enough to pique my interest to the point of trying.
