BBC to screen The Ashes

Now here’s some moderately good news. The BBC has acquired a highlights programme for The Ashes, Roger Mosey has triumphantly announced.

Roger Mosey. Roger Mosey… why do I know that name? OHhhhh, that’s right, because I’ve had a run-in with him before. That’s right – Rog here is saying how they’ve got some highlights programme of the Ashes, and how cricket is very important to the BBC, but back in December last year, it seemed like a different story, as I was fobbed off with hollow achievements and PR-propaganda. (Google: Roger Mosey for fun.)

Is this a change in the BBC’s perspective? Have they finally realised the value of cricket? Maybe, but I doubt it. I reckon I’ll be barking like a dog and licking my balls before Sky release their grip on English Test cricket.
