Beech Announces Legacy Aircraft Parts Support
Beech Aircraft President Randy Groom announced the new Legacy Parts and Support Group during a press conference held July 25th at Airventure Oshkosh. Emphasis for this new division, under veteran Raytheon support director Tom Gienovese, is on out-of-production Beech airplanes.
“Nearly 73% of all Beech models ever produced are no longer in production,” explained Ed Dolanski, Vice President for Customer Support Operations at Raytheon Aircraft. The Legacy Parts and Support Group will connect owners of legacy aircraft (and their mechanics) with persons trained in sourcing parts for these out-of-production airplanes. A new e-mail address (legacy_parts@rac.ray.com) and phone number (1-866-499-7277) connect owners directly with the team.
According to Dolanski, this is no way changes the direct access to ABS-trained service representatives at RAPID, accessed through the current toll-free number (1-800-727-4344 or 316-676-8238). In fact, Dolanski hints that the legacy team is an expansion of ABS’ idea for especially trained parts representatives that lead to the ABS team in the first place.
Remember that as an ABS member you can realize savings on parts purchased from RAPID using your ABS credit card. This is in addition to other discounts Raytheon has announced in recent months.
