Belgian Beer
I was wandering around the internet in search of a post, and I stumbled across this very cool website promoting beer travel to Belgium. It’s chock full of information about the country and its beers, with an events calendar and links to a host of different breweries and other resources about Belgian beers. If you’re looking for people to chat with (virtually) about your love of Belgian beers, as well as a less formal guide to touring Belgium for beers, check out babblebelt, a strangely named site started by some European fans of all beers Belgian. Finally, global beer has a wealth of information on Belgian beer as well as an extensive shop, so you can order your Belgian beer and matching glass while you educate yourself on the subject.
If you’re still not sure what a Belgian Beer Tour might entail check out this article from Conde Nast on the subject, it’s kind of an aperitif for the heavy lifting on the other sites. For those of you inclined to hop on a plane, the Zythos Beer Festival, coming up in the beginning of March, looks like a very interesting event with a sizable list of beers from some of the top Belgian breweries.

I specialize in beer tours of Belgium. The next one is the “Lonely Monks Trappist Tour” Oct. 17-28, 2008. I have only four seats left. Please visit my website or call 231-215-0173 for more information. I offer four beer tours of Belgium each year. Once you visit Belgium and experience the beer culture, it will change your life!
Cheers,
