With CES 2008 just around the corner, manufacturers are pushing their newest, flashiest products out the door for the public to see, and sometimes they even announce products before CES. Belkin has announced their newest HD product, the FlyWire, which will send HD signals over the 5GHz from whatever source you’d like, be it your Blu-Ray or HD-DVD player, perhaps your HD game console, or your dusty little Apple TV. There hasn’t been too much information announced, but the maker of the Wireless HD chip, AMIMON, says they have completed tests where they were able to be up to 100 feet and still have uncompressed, undistorted HD signals and an astounding “latency of less than one millisecond” when tested with an HDMI cable. This will definately be one to keep an eye on.
