For those who grew up in the 70’s, I’m quite sure that you can remember the original bell bottom pants. They were “the” pants that you just had to have in your wardrobe. For those who were handy with a sewing machine, you could even use a pattern to create your own pair of bell bottoms so that you could have “the in pants”.

bell-bottoms-social-mediaWhen in comes to your social media outreach, do your followers feel that you are the person to follow when it comes to your industry? Do you “supply the news” or “make the trends” for those who follow you? If you answered yes to these questions then congratulations. If you answered no to either of these questions then let’s take a journey together to being able to answer “yes”.

Below is a list of things that you can do to become a social media trendsetter:

  • To be a social media trendsetter means that you are an early adopter of social media tools.
  • Know how to find out about the newest and latest news about social media and then be able to communicate this information quickly to your followers.
  • Able to teach others how to use social media tools to grow their business.
  • Can easily hold a teleseminar or webinar explaining social media tools.

This is just a starter list of things that help you determine if you are social media trendsetter. Remember that when you are a trendsetter that it is important for you to check your facts and share the true about social media tools that you are reporting on. The video below shares information that further explain social media and how it works.
