Ben Roethlisberger has been named in a criminal complaint accusing him of rape while staying at the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe resort.
Supposedly the women came up to his room to fix his TV set, because no technicians were available and Ben blocked the door, began to kiss and fondle her and then raped her. She did not go to the authorities because she feared she would lose her job.
The suit seeks at least $440,000 in damages from the quarterback who won the Super Bowl this year and in 2006, and alleges hotel officials for Harrah’s Lake Tahoe went to great lengths to cover up the incident. She’s seeking $50,000 in damages from the Harrah’s officials.
The Steelers and Commissioner Roger Goodell are also looking into the incident.

The woman’s lawsuit claims she had to be treated for depression after the alleged attack and names 8 Harrah’s employees to be involved in a cover up.
