Best Tires for the Toyota Prius

Now that winter’s on its way, people are asking the tough questions that need to be answered … like, Does the Toyota Prius do okay in snow? I’m in Iowa, so this question was one of my main concerns when checking them out as well. The truth is that many new cars would handle better if they had different tires, and the Prius is no exception to that rule. So we went to the owners driving in places like New Hampshire, Ontario, and Minnesota who say these are the best tires for the Toyota Prius:

* Nokian WR

* Michelin Energy MXV4+

* Michelin Hydroedge

* Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S

The best tires for the Toyota Prius in terms of gas mileage were claimed to be:

* Goodyear Viva 2

Although the Goodyear Integrities that come standard on some models were said to handle very poorly in the snow.

Check out these tires and more
