Beware of Ponzi Scams Online

August 15, 2007 by Sean Kelly

(FranchisePick.Com) One of the great benefits of being a b5media network business blogger has been getting to learn from experts in fascinating subjects that I’d otherwise not even know existed.  For example, fellow b5er Mark Herpel blogs about issues surrounding the emerging practice of using eCurrency at his blog Digital Money World.

Mark has recently posted a two-part warning about widespread ponzi schemes using the ease and allure of digital currency to bilk the unsuspecting.  And you thought the Lads from Lagos with their Western Union money transfers had the corner on Internet fraud!

Check out Mark’s posts:

Part One: Ponzi Scams….Digital Currency’s Dirty (not so little) Secret

Part Two:  Ponzi Scams….Digital Currency’s Dirty (not so little) Secret

HAVE YOU HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH PONZI SCHEMES OR INTERNET FRAUD?  LEAVE A COMMENT & TELL US ABOUT IT.

Note:  FranchisePick.com has just reached its first 200-comment blog entry.  See what the fuss is about at Is Snappy Auctions a Great Franchise Opportunity?
