Big Sky Conference Preview

Portland State won its first ever Big Sky Conference title last year and is picked to win its second this year. It’s the first time the Vikings have been selected as the preseason pick to win it all since they joined the conference in 1996-97.

Weber State, which won the conference title in 2006-07 is picked fifth this year and will kick off the Big Sky Conference season on Nov. 12 when it plays Miami, OH in the Coaches vs.Cancer Classic at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Westwood, CA.

Another team to watch is Northern Arizona, which advanced to the conference championship game the last three consecutive years.

Unfortunately there was no preseason player picks by the coaches and media.
